Executive Protection & Corporate Security Specialist - GSC - US
**Our Global Support Center/ Corporate Office is located in the Energy Corridor- off I10 and N Eldridge.** **Address:** **_1390 Enclave Pkwy, Houston, TX 77077_** **Hybrid Role: In-office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. Work from home on Thursday and Friday.** **Travel Requirements: 75%** Under the direction of the Sysco Director Sysco Executive Protection & Corporate Security the Executive Protection Coordinator will operate in a multi-functional capacity including but not limited to safety and security support, travel and transportation planning and logistics, and administrative support. The Executive Protection Coordinator/Specialist will keep Sysco executive leadership team safety and security at the forefront of this role; however, they will simultaneously assist the CEO with administrative related support such as transportation arrangements, schedule adherence and development, dining reservations, and more. The holder of this position will provide secure transport to and from airports, hotels, restaurants, residences, business engagements and more. **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Conduct thorough physical security assessments and develop strategic security plans for internal & external Sysco clients' safety. + Provide close executive protection services during travel, public appearances, and other engagements for the Sysco CEO and assigned executive leadership team members. + Conduct advance physical security assessments reconnaissance for upcoming Sysco Corporation events or executive leadership travel itineraries inclusive of the CEO & Chairman of the Board + Maintain confidentiality regarding clients' activities and security arrangements + Prepare detailed incident reports and debrief Sysco internal/external clients on physical security-related risk matters as needed. + Assist in the coordination of special events, meetings, and VIP engagements, ensuring all security and logistical aspects are meticulously planned and executed. + Contribute to the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance overall security posture + Maintain the highest level of confidentiality from a Sysco proprietary information perspective when exposed to various Sysco executive/senior leadership conversations during protection detail events. **Qualifications:** **Education Required:** High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required Education Preferred: Bachelor's Degree **Experience Required:** + 5+ years of experience in military, law enforcement, or private security, providing physical security, emergency response, surveillance detection, secure transportation, and executive protection. Completion of specialized training programs in executive protection or security-related fields is desirable. Experience Preferred: + Experience interacting with domestic and international law enforcement agencies – Preferred + Experience leading others in case management – Preferred + Experience leading others in investigations – Preferred + Experience working with government agencies – Preferred **Licenses/Certifications Required:** + A valid LEOSA-Law Enforcement Officers Safety permit, State of Texas Concealed Carry Weapons permit, Exposed Firearm Permit, Guard Card, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/Automated External Defibrillator (AED)/First Aid certification.
