To effectively manage the administrative functions of the Executive Office department and provide operational and administration support to the Company Secretary and Executive Assistant in order to assist them to fulfil their duties in line with their mandate.
 

Job Responsibilities

Assist the Company Secretary and Executive Assistant of Nedbank Insurance with the following tasks:

Driving transformation and sustainability projects Driving commercialisation, execution and special projects  Preparation, consolidation and formatting of reports and presentations Coordination of Board, Annual General Meeting, Extended Leadership, Board/Regulator engagement and Executive strategic meetings and attend to related administration and logistical aspects Conducting basic data analysis to provide insights  Draft agendas, consolidate meeting pack, review reports, draft minutes, draft meeting plans and draft resolutions for Board and Board Committee meetings as well as track action items and drive closure  Draft and obtain approval of resolutions, director declarations, ethics statements, etc.  Manage ad hoc administrative requests e.g. FICA requests, audit requests, regulatory notifications, etc. Maintain accurate company records (including minutes, resolutions, annual returns) Collaborate well and develop / maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders  Arrange and facilitate director succession planning, training and onboarding  Draft, coordinate and roll out the strategic calendar and related administration   Consolidation and formatting of the Business Plan and related administration of the Business Planning process Conduct competitor and industry analysis  Prep for, attend and provide value at relevant meetings  Contribute to team success and teamwork by sharing knowledge with the team Perform general office administrative functions and manage ad hoc queries/correspondence and tasks effectively Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments by identifying training courses for self through input and feedback from managers Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance efficiencies, processes, systems and policies and support implementation. Law degree, company secretarial qualifications, business degree
