Position Summary:

The Executive Medical Affairs plays a crucial role in providing scientific & medical expertise to support marketing strategies for pharmaceutical products.

This position needs a deep understanding of medical science, pharmacology & regulatory requirements to ensure that all marketing materials & activities are accurate, compliant, and aligned with the product's clinical profile.

Responsibilities:

Medical -Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop medico-marketing strategies that align with overall marketing objectives. Review Content Development: Provide medical input & review for promotional materials, including sales aids, brochures, websites, and presentations, to ensure scientific accuracy and compliance with regulations. Medical Training: Conduct medical training for sales teams/s and marketing teams to enhance their understanding of product attributes, mechanism of action, clinical data, and competitive landscape. Medical Information Support: Respond to medical inquiries from healthcare professionals, patients & internal stakeholders. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marketing materials & activities adhere to relevant regulatory guidelines and company policies. Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement: Build & maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in healthcare & gather insights, gain endorsements and support educational initiatives like CMES. Meeting & important Customers: participating in Pharmacy stores meeting, Round table meeting, etc. Advisory Board Management: Organize & facilitate meetings to gather strategic input, obtain feedback on marketing initiatives, and discuss emerging scientific trends. Market Research: Stay abreast of developments in the therapeutic area, information about competitor brands and market trends through continuous monitoring of scientific literature, conferences, and market research reports. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams - regulatory affairs, clinical development, PV, marketing etc. to ensure alignment of strategies with overall business objectives. Risk Management: Identify & mitigate potential risks related to medical / scientific content, ensuring that promotional activities are conducted ethically and in accordance with industry standards.

Qualifications:

Medical degree with strong clinical and scientific background Previous experience in a medical affairs or medical marketing role within the pharmaceutical industry In-depth knowledge of therapeutic area(s), disease states, and treatment guidelines Understanding of regulatory requirements governing pharmaceutical promotion and advertising Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex medical information to diverse audiences. Strong analytical skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office & other relevant software applications

Preferred additional Qualifications:

Board certification or specialization in relevant therapeutic area(s). Diabetology / Oncology / Neurology etc. Experience in managing advisory boards and engaging with key opinion leaders. Interested candidates should send their CVS to the below email addresses before 15th March 2024.
