Job DescriptionThe Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction across the resort. The role requires exceptional leadership, organizational, and operational skills to maintain excellence in guest experiences and align with the brand standards of Anantara.
Qualifications1. Leadership & Management:
Lead, mentor, and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver impeccable service and maintain high morale.Plan and implement training programs to ensure staff competence and compliance with operational standards.Supervise daily operations of housekeeping, laundry, and public areas to ensure efficiency and quality.2. Operational Excellence:
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, ensuring timely and thorough maintenance of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and aesthetic standards.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety and hygiene protocols.3. Financial Management:
Manage departmental budgets, including cost control for cleaning supplies, amenities, and staffing.Prepare monthly reports and performance metrics for the housekeeping department.Optimize resource utilization while maintaining quality standards.4. Guest Service:
Collaborate with other departments to meet and exceed guest expectations.Handle guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping promptly and professionally.Continuously seek ways to enhance the guest experience through attention to detail and proactive service.5. Sustainability:
Implement environmentally friendly practices, such as reducing waste and using sustainable cleaning products, in line with Anantara’s sustainability initiatives.Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting.Skills:Strong leadership and team management abilities.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.High attention to detail and commitment to quality.Proficiency in budgeting and cost management.Strong communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
