What will I be doing?
\n\nOversee housekeeping operations\nOversee Laundry Operations\nEvaluate Guest satisfaction levels and monitor trends with a focus on continuous improvement\nOperate within departmental budgets through effective stock and cost controls and well managed schedules\nSet departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures\nInspect, regularly, all fixtures, fittings, and appliances to ensure compliance to standards and take action as necessary to conform to standard\nMonitor the appearance, standards and performance of the Housekeeping/Laundry Team with an emphasis on training and teamwork\nEnsure team members have an up-to-date knowledge of all room categories and amenities\nMaintain good communication and work relationships in all hotel areas and with external customers and suppliers\nEnsure staffing levels cover business demands\nEnsure ongoing training\nEnsure communication meetings are conducted and post-meeting minutes generated\nManage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures\n\n\nWhat are we looking for?
\n\nHousekeeping experience in the hotel/leisure/retail sector in a managerial capacity\nA successful track record of managing a large team\nHigh level of commercial awareness and cost control capabilities\nExcellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills\nCommitted to delivering high levels of customer service\nAbility to work under pressure\nIT proficiency\nFlexibility to respond to a range of different work situations\nProficiency, at an intermediate level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office\nStrong organizational, budget management, and problem solving skills\nStrong communication skills\nA passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service\n\n\nELIGIBILITY
