Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Executive Engineer, Underground Structures to join our team in Singapore, Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design and execution of complex underground infrastructure projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and innovation.

Oversee the planning, design, and construction of underground structures, including tunnels, underground stations, and deep foundationsDevelop and implement engineering solutions for complex geotechnical and structural challengesManage project teams and collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure timely project deliveryConduct detailed structural analysis and design for underground facilitiesEnsure compliance with local and international safety regulations and construction standardsEvaluate and implement innovative construction methods and technologies to improve project efficiencyProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineersPrepare and review technical reports, design calculations, and construction drawingsLiaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address project-related issuesParticipate in business development activities and contribute to proposal preparation

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree in Structural or Geotechnical Engineering preferredMinimum 4 years of experience in underground structure engineering, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projectsAdvanced knowledge of underground structure design and construction principlesExpertise in geotechnical engineering and soil/rock mechanicsProficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and Civil 3DStrong understanding of structural analysis and design for underground facilitiesIn-depth knowledge of underground construction methods and technologiesExcellent project management skills, including the ability to lead multidisciplinary teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with safety regulations and standards for underground constructionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentWillingness to travel to project sites as needed
