The Executive Director of Strategy and Operations will drive quantitative strategy implementation to support the Studio, Distribution, and Network pillars of Fox Entertainment. The Executive Director of Strategy and Operations will Report directly to the SVP of Strategy and Operations, this role is crucial for aligning business objectives with operational execution.

Data Analysis & Insights:Collect and validate data on market trends and internal performance to provide actionable insights that drive business performance and operational efficiencyResearch industry trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities and inform strategyPerform competitor analysis to uncover gaps and areas for growthConduct financial analyses, including valuations and assessments of merger consequences to guide strategic decisionsFrom exposure to business leaders and teams, develop clear, quantitative reports and presentations to inform decision-makingCollaboration & Partnership:Work closely with the SVP of Strategy and Operations and Change Managers to align strategies with people-focused goalsFoster relationships across shared services, including HR, IT, Research, BALA and Marketing, to optimize support for business pillarsResource Management:Assess employee capacity and skills to ensure the right personnel are aligned with strategic initiativesUse data to prioritize resources effectively across departmentsCommunication & Reporting:Present data-driven insights to executive leadership to inform strategy and initiativesCustomize communication/presentations for various teams to ensure relevance and engagementCultivate and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders and external partners to foster collaborationGrowth Mindset:Implement highlight of successes using data to boost organizational focus and productivityImplement post-mortem mechanisms to continuously improve operations and supportABOUT YOU
Ability to align operational strategies with the overarching goals of the Studio, Distribution, and Network pillarsInterpret and reflect in quantitative and/or actionable communications and presentationsDrive efficiency and effectiveness within shared services to enhance overall business performanceFoster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and data-driven decision-makingStrong project management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demandsCollaborative mindset with a focus on building effective teams and partnershipsPersistent and resilient, with a proactive approach to problem-solvingWHAT YOU WILL NEED
8+ years professional experienceExperience working in consulting or investment bankingStrong analytical skills with experience in financial analysis and/or market researchHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent)Proficiency in financial analysis and investment banking principlesFinancial modeling experienceExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWillingness to work flexible hours and be responsive to urgent requests.Proven track record in a business development or consulting role, ideally within the entertainment industryNICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
