The person selected for this role will be responsible for the strategic direction, development, and execution of integrated marketing and communications programs that support City of Hope National Medical Center in Los Angeles. The position dual reports to City of Hope’s System Chief Marketing Officer, aligning local marketing efforts with broader institutional objectives. This role also partners with the Los Angeles Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to drive strategic growth, patient engagement, and brand awareness. This role oversees local external communications, public affairs, brand management, advertising, events, visitor services, and emergency/crisis communications in partnership with the City of Hope System Chief Communications Officer.

Your qualifications should include:
Bachelor’s Degree Ten (10) years relevant experience in relevant aspects of marketing, communications, and government relations, including five years in the health care arena and preferably at an academic medical center.Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and working with senior executivesRecognized leader with deep experience in health care marketing and communications arena preferredCity of Hope employees pay is based on the following criteria: work experience, qualifications, and work location.
