**Sodexo** is seeking an experienced **Executive Chef 2** to join our team at **Annie Penn Memorial Hospital** located in **Reidsville, NC** . **Annie Penn Hospital (APH)** is a 110-bed facility. Annie Penn received the _Guardian of Excellence Award,_ a national award for employee engagement, by Press Ganey. Annie Penn Hospital is a division of Cone Health, a not-for-profit, community-based, six-hospital system with over 1200 inpatient beds.
The **Executive Chef** will come with an energetic and results-driven personality, be a self-starter who can run with things with little direction, and have a proven ability to maintain organization and safety in a high-volume kitchen. This position will be responsible for tray line and retail production as well as direct oversight of 25 frontline associates.
**** TYPICAL SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday ****
**(3rd weekend rotation).**

**The successful candidate will:**
+ directly manage all culinary operations relating to retail, patient feeding, and catering;
+ maintain schedules; cover schedule as needed;
+ implement and standardize all culinary systems and procedures for hospital;
+ monitor, audit, implement and standardize new menus;
+ be responsible for Food and Physical Safety and annual training for 15 frontline staff;
+ conduct audits, create action plans based on audit findings and be responsible for keeping and updating GC audit books;
+ work with vendors on procurement items; be responsible for purchasing manager and purchasing financial audits;
+ conduct yearly culinary foundations training to all cooks;
+ improve and standardize catering services, create menus based on client needs;
+ implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient services; and/or
+ create interpersonal relationships with clients in hospital.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
