The Executive Assistant, Strategic Development, provides administrative planning and support to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Development. This role will be responsible for handling the executive's meeting schedules, travel arrangements, expense reporting, records management, owning and managing team communication lists and groups, assisting with logistics for meetings and off-sites, and day-to-day office requests. In this position, working collaboratively with assistants throughout various departments within Danaher and outside of Danaher is essential. The Executive Assistant will also provide administrative support to the Strategic Development team as needed. This position is part of the Strategic Development Team, which is responsible for market assessment, deal sourcing and commercial diligence during Mergers and Acquisitions, as wells as the company’s strategic planning process. The position will be located in the Boston Seaport District. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + Coordinate all aspects of the Executive’s schedule, including a high volume of complex domestic and international travel arrangements; understand the Executives needs and work to meet them. Serve as gatekeeper of the Executive’s time, schedule, and information. Anticipate potential schedule conflicts and proactively deal with them before they become issues. Must be able to maintain the utmost confidentiality regarding details of schedules and related information. + Handle highly confidential materials, including strategic business deals, negotiations, and other sensitive information, ensuring full confidentiality at all times. Facilitate communication and coordination for complex and confidential business transactions, ensuring that all involved parties are aligned and informed while maintaining discretion. + Communicate and coordinate early and clearly with other executive assistants supporting the Danaher Leadership Team, staff and external contacts, to effectively plan schedules. + General project management assistance, including maintaining and updating action plans and timelines, scheduling meetings and interfacing with project groups as appropriate. Produce PowerPoint presentations, Word documents, Excel spreadsheets. Set-up video conferencing and other media technology as needed. + Manage and reconcile expense reports and purchase requisitions. Manage memberships & subscriptions for executives & team members. Maintain files and manage invoice approval and submission. The essential requirements of the job include: + Associate or bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of E x e cuti v e A s s i s tant e xp e ri e nce r e quir e d, preferably in a deal-driven or highly confidential industry (e.g., finance, legal, real estate, or corporate strategy) + Pro v e n track r e cord of p e r f o r m a n c e , r e s ult s , meeting deadlines, successfully managing administrative processes, and maintaining a positive “can-do” attitude. Excellent time management and ability to manage shifting priorities, deliver quickly and adapt to changing demands in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Impeccable attention to detail, independent thinker and problem-solver with a strong work ethic + Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information and exercise discretion in all dealings. Highly organized and capable of prioritizing and managing multiple projects/tasks + P rofessional co mm unication s t y l e , b oth oral and written, including impeccable accuracy in formatting. Experience liaising with and managing communications and events for senior external stakeholders to include Board of Directors for publicly traded companies. Superior interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to partner with other administrative professionals to manage competing needs and schedules as well as work with people at multiple levels both internally and externally. + Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Sharepoint software. + Ability to work independently and take initiative while supporting a team-oriented environment. Globally minded, able to deal with ambiguity and drive results without direct accountability. Ability to learn the team’s primary business objectives, and through this understanding, anticipate administrative needs + Strong problem-solving skills and reasoning to quickly follow up and solve administrative issues Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: + 5 – 10% travel for meetings and conferences The hourly range for this role is $50.48-$60.96. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
