What You'll Do
About Operations
Our business operations team members work to ensure that BCG is running smoothly, efficiently, and productively. We are made up of executive and administrative (or case team) assistants, receptionists, facilities staff, and the team leaders and office coordinators who manage these operations and business management jobs.
Role Profile
The Executive Assistant (EA) provides administrative support to Managing Director & Partner taking full responsibility for maintaining their demanding schedules. The goal is to leverage the Managing Director & Partner’s time and to enable her/him to successfully serve BCG clients by being an integral member of the client service team.
Tasks will vary, depending on the Managing Director & Partner’s working styles, and the existing workload. The duties described below make up a typical, but not necessarily complete, list.
Overall, the EA should work in support of the partner group, each other, the office, and BCG as a whole in a manner consistent with BCG's stated values.
Consulting Team Support
You’re required to solve problems proactively before anyone knows. As a dynamic and self-motivated Executive Assistant, you’re going to support our key consultants, like MDPs (Managing Director & Partner). Your responsibility is to help them with their missions in an appropriate manner. You should be able to define a priority and take the right process to ensure that they’re served to achieve our business goal; client satisfaction. To do so, you’re advised to help them make the right decisions, based on your intellectual curiosity and understanding of clients and MDP’s preferences.
Operations support
Your job scope includes the following things as well; travel booking, meeting scheduling, time & expense management, process improvement, and office event support. In addition, it might be extended to other roles like a receptionist to handle visitor-supporting activities such as greeting, logistics, meeting preparations and office administration.What You'll Bring
A bachelor‘s degree with 1 years of experience or more in supporting senior executives Professional and diplomatic skill you’re going to work with consultants who are tough under pressure with our client’s requests. This can be a challenge for you, but be professional and diplomatic to achieve our common goals. Good relationship with key stakeholders. There is nothing we can do alone. We should collaborate to achieve our goals. We need such a person who makes a sense of achievement through a good relationship. Excellent time and project management skills in multi-tasking environments. Enthusiasm to improve a process. You’re advised to be creative and make suggestions to make things better for efficiency.
