Executive Assistant, AWS , Global Deal Strategy and Programs
Amazon is seeking an Executive Assistant to support Directors within AWS Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP). This role requires attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple requests across global teams. The Executive Assistant will act as seamless extension of the leaders, and will work closely with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure and confidentiality.

Role responsibilities include managing multiple complex calendars across global time zones, managing and submitting expense reports, coordinating domestic and international travel, and handling team offsites and meetings. This candidate will also establish mechanisms and processes where necessary. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, anticipate challenges, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture.

This position is office-based, with the flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week in line with Amazon’s current flexible work guidance.


Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include:
• Management of complex calendar scheduling across multiple and global locations.
• Manage domestic and international travel.
• Manage expense report coordination and submission.
• Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, on-sites/off-sites, team social events, etc.)
• Track and help drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items.
• Act as a liaison for direct reports.
• Management of team space, including moves and reconfigurations.
• Understand business priorities and proactively look for ways to improve processes to create efficiency and scale.
• Review and copy-edit documents, communications, and presentations with accuracy.
• Support and manage small to medium projects based on organizational needs and professional development interests
• Build relationships and work collaboratively with Executive Assistants throughout the team and across the company.
• Travel may be required up to 10%

A day in the life
Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will demonstrate initiative, complete tasks and projects quickly, and proactively take action without having to know the total picture. You will learn organizational structures and objectives of the teams you support, as well as build a strong internal network. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly, grace under pressure. Over time, you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunity for special projects with increased responsibility and long-term career growth.

largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The
AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer
success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top
of AWS services.
