What You'll Get To DoThe Excavator Operator is responsible for loading haul trucks in pit area.Conduct a thorough safety inspection daily on equipment and fill out all required paperworkSafe, effective utilization of equipment to load haul trucks and clear overburden ahead of mining operationAssist in moving pit pumpsDaily preventive maintenance and lubrication of equipmentMonitor unusual vibrations, noise or wear patterns and inform supervisorOther job duties as assigned
What We Are Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of four years’ experience operating similar equipmentAbility to work overtime as neededAbility to operate equipment for long periods of timeFrequently lift 10 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 poundsHave some mechanical knowledge
