What you will be doing

The Excalibur programme spans almost the entire business and ensures that Alliance Healthcare UK has the best and most efficient business processes, organisation and systems in place to enable future growth and innovations. This is an exciting and complex transformation programme that will be changing the way we do things in our business by delivering SAP and Manhattan Warehouse Management System. We will be changing the way we engage with our customers and be providing them with a new and enhanced platform for doing business with us. We need to take our employees, suppliers, and Customers on the change journey with us through engaging communications across multiple channels.

This is a key role that will manage the day-to-day implementation of operational activities at site to prepare for the implementation and cutover to the new Excalibur ways of working through the delivery and ongoing development of the Operations Readiness Playbook, liaising closely with the Site & Excalibur teams to ensure delivery.

Other key responsibilities will include:

Own and ensure delivery of the Playbook activities in order to prepare the site for Excalibur implementation.

Work closely with the SCM, Site Leadership, nominated colleagues, the Excalibur Project Team & IT to complete site readiness activities to time, quality and budget.

Specific accountability for delivering the Physical Site Preparation Workstream section of the Playbook Liaise with Site and Excalibur Project Teams to ensure that site resources are scheduled and available for testing, training, stock counts etc.

What your background should look like 

We would value the following attributes:

Operational experience in AHUK preferredMinimum 3 years operational experience in AH UK preferred, minimum 10 years ops experience overall.Experienced team leader, used to line management and working within a matrix environmentExperienced in leading and supporting others through operational change; able to showcase personal resilienceStrong planning and delivery experienceExperienced at liaising with multiple stakeholders to achieve a common goal Willingness to learn new ways of working essential

The role will involve significant travel to the UK sites though flexible working and downtime will be supported.
