Provides basic first aid care to injured or ill fans attending various events at all three of the major venues in Cleveland to include, Progressive Field and Quicken Loans Arena. **Responsibilities:** + Transports injured or ill fans from seat, concourse or venue proper to care center. + Performs primary assessment of patient and determines appropriate independent or collaborative response. + Administers basic first aid care to patients at care center. + Collaborates and communicates with other medical personnel on-site or at hospital through to patient disposition. + Other duties as assigned. **Education:** + Completion of an accredited Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) training program. **Certifications:** + Current licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMTP) in the current State required. + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Experienced Provider Instructor or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Experienced Provider through American Heart Association (AHA) required. **Complexity of Work** : + Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. + Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. **Work Experience:** + One year as functioning EMT-A. Firefighter experience preferred. **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to provide hands-on medical care for patients (audience members) at various sporting event locations (arenas) + Ability to transfer patients to and from patient cots and bed. + Ability to move 10 to 25 pounds frequently and 75-100 pounds occasionally. **Personal Protective Equipment** : + Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
