With over 8,000 employees in 25 District offices across Canada, and 370,000 employees globally, we possess the experience and knowledge to offer a broad range of expert services including: On-site Guarding, Mobile Patrol Guarding, Leading Technology Solutions, Remote Guarding, and Investigations. **We are seeking EVENT SECURITY DISPATCHERS FOR THE EDMONTON area.** **Rate of pay $21.00 per hour** **Primary Event Security Dispatcher Responsibilities but not limited to:** + Must be able to write an incident report and review your team’s incident report. + Must be able to coach, train and mentor their team effectively. + Must be able to communicate effective in English both Verbally and in Writing + Observes and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property its assets and personnel. + Must be able to work where liquor is being sold and be able to be certified with AGLC for Liquor legislation and enforcement. + Satisfy client and management needs by providing excellent customer service while minimizing risk to the client's property and assets. + Must be able to communicate well with other emergency and law enforcement agencies. + Experience in Dealing with Clients and Management in high stress environment. + Must be able to Multitask. + Must be able to have prior knowledge and experience using CCTV software’s. + Must have experience using 2-way radios. + Must be able to effectively communicate over 2-way Radio’s, Phone and Communication Software **QUALIFICATIONS** **:** + Must have a valid Alberta Security License + Must have a minimum of 3 years in Dispatching / Event Command experience. + Must have an open availability between April 1 and September 1, 2025, more specifically between 3pm and Midnight. + Must have or be able to complete AGLC certification of Protect and Proserve + Must have reliable transportation to and from the site or be able to utilize public transportation. + Certification in ICS 100-200-400 considered an asset. + Any Certification relating to this role will be considered an asset. **OTHER BENEFITS:** + Free uniform + Virtual training + On the job training + Top industry rates of pay. + Continuous learning opportunities **TO APPLY** **We value diversity and inclusion and encourage all qualified people to apply.** **The posting will remain open until filled.** **Further information about the Company:** **www.securitas.ca** \#AF-WesternCanada Securitas employees come from all walks of life, bringing with them a variety of distinctive skills and perspectives.
