Event Finance Assistant
Position Summary: This position will facilitate all money needs and transactions while adhering to company policies to ensure efficient sales reporting. Essential Duties: + Controls and records all transactions processed at point-of-sale cashiers. + Plans and monitors event requirements. + Prepares and receives change orders. + Assists F&B personnel with the closing of events + Prepare settlement to all point of sales cashiers. + Prepares event closing reports. + Report to Accounting Manager needs and discrepancies of transactions. + Establish and maintain positive client relationships. + Constant reaching, standing, walking and stooping. + Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination. + Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications & Skills + Strong written, read and verbal communication skills both in English and Spanish + Must have attention to detail. + Must have ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide. + Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events. + Must have strong interpersonal & organizational skills. + Must be able to pass a background check to include a credit history report and meet corporate minimum requirements. Education and/or Experience + High school diploma or GED + One year of customer service experience preferred + One year of cash handling experience preferred Computer Skills + Must have strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook + Demonstrated ability to learn new software programs Rate $10.50 per hour.
