About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Event Executive to join our team who is keen to explore and develop their event planning, coordination and sales skills. This role focuses on supporting the Event Planning Manager with administrative and event coordination tasks, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality events and exceptional client service. From time to time this position will also provide support to the Event Sales team.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide administrative support including maintaining and updating event management systems (e.g., Envision), ensuring accurate and timely data entry.

· Assist in planning and organizing various events, including corporate events, weddings and social functions.

· Ensure all necessary documentation and materials, such as sales kits, event confirmation, and event materials are prepared.

· Coordinate and participate in site inspections with clients, highlighting venue features and capabilities.

· Provide support the sales team during high-demand periods by assisting with client inquiries, follow-ups, and other sales-related tasks.

· Take on varied responsibilities based on seasonal business needs, shifting between planning-focused tasks and sales support.

Requirements

· Relevant qualification in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.

· Previous experience in an administrative role or hotel operations in particular, experience as an Events Coordinator, Events Assistant or similar role would be highly regarded.

· Experience with event management software, will be of advantage.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Flexible, proactive, and detail-oriented with a passion for creating memorable experiences.

· Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
