Overview:

The NetSuite Global Events Team is made up of results driven marketers who deliver world-class experiences. We are looking for an events business operations manager who will support the team by creating and maintaining process documentation, ensuring alignment on compliance restrictions and supporting our budgeting and contracting processes for our in-person and virtual programs for the NetSuite Global Business Unit, including our global user conference. 

 

This includes, but is not limited to, process documentation, document and deck creation, onboarding assistance, shared mailbox management, vendor management, budgeting and purchase requisition management, contract oversight, and compliance adherence. The core objective for this role is to support a team of colleagues by maintaining efficiency in administrative processes in order to execute programs that will drive new pipeline and progress existing pipeline.  

 

 

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures, resource guides and various decks as needed Liaise with compliance and additional relevant teams to ensure all events adhere with company compliance standards and submit and archive relevant documentation Assist in managing full financial life cycle of event from creating a purchase requisition through post-event reconciliations Oversee vendor management and liaise with vendors on any questions or needs Ensure that all contracts and POs are processed for events in accordance with Oracle policies Assist in keeping financial trackers and spend details up to date Own and manage Event Kit inventory and shipping Ownership of various shared mailboxes and Slack channel resources Work cross-functionally across organization

 

 

Skills:

BS/BA or equivalent 2+ years of experience supporting business operations, including for large-scale user conferences  Proven track record of financial management Strong analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Comfortable presenting to and communicating with executive leadership Proficiency in Microsoft office, specifically in Excel and PowerPoint  Ability to travel to events as required including occasional evenings and weekends
