Evaluation Technician

Setting up, preparing & conducting various engineering required testing of various production models/units on the dynamometer
Conduct in-depth engine teardowns along with engine component measurements and evaluation of all the parts
Do fault findings when required on internal and external customers and production units.
Conduct Torque control measurements and calibration.
Able to read and understand Mechanical & Electrical Drawings
Do fault findings & repairs on Mechanical & Electrical systems.
Generating reports whilst testing to establish the performance of tested and torn down engines.
Analyze this report and implement corrective actions where required
Work according to FPS Standards and maintain these standards.
Be able to perform preventative maintenance and checks.
Degree/National Diploma in mechanical Engineering / NTC6 – Trade certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
Experience in Dynamometer testing will be advantageous.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience
Fulfill the dedicated SQDCME responsibilities.
Generate quality reports to share relevant product information with Quality review team, Assembly line and 3C process coaches.
Follow-up required corrective actions from Process lines, where necessary
Reducing dynamometer operation down time
Continuous improvements
Take responsibility of 5S
