The Fixed Income Front Office Application Support Team operates with a global footprint, ensuring comprehensive support to multiple business line across the dealer in various regions and time zones. Their primary focus is on supporting Fixed Income eTrading Applications within TD Securities, a critical area within the Capital Markets space.

This team works in close collaboration with partners at the dealer, addressing and resolving issues related to risk management, profit and loss (PnL) discrepancies, and offering challenges. Their role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the trading environment.

Additionally, the team is responsible for managing and resolving issues stemming from trade execution, settlements, and audit. This includes troubleshooting and remediating issues to ensure smooth and efficient trading operation.

About This Role

This position interacts with all FI Income Etrading Users – using electronic trading and risk platforms like ION, ION-Anvil, Bloomberg and customized Algo solutions – the focus of this role is to develop and implement lasting, robust technology solutions as well as support the existing application and surrounding framework.

Role And Responsibilities
 

Working closely with the Fixed Income Business including Front & Middle Office, Product Control, Risk Management, Back Office, Application Development, and Infrastructure teams. and make sure their Technology Issues/Incidents with respect to eFI application suite are resolved in a timely manner.Drive and manage a highly effective controls environment (including processes), covering incident/problem/change management, production implementation, compliance and audit controls, and business continuity (both application and resources)Manage key relationships with both delivery teams and partners and hold regular service delivery reviews that promote continuous service improvement.Partner with delivery teams to schedule test cycles and deployments in a timely manner.Ensure scheduled changes take place with proper testing, monitoring, and implementation and with little or no adverse impact to the business.Work with technology partners to ensure that environment modifications interact appropriately, data conversion impacts are considered, and other areas of impact are addressed and meet performance requirements.Grow team expertise to align with enterprise demand and the Bank's business / technology direction; assess team skills and capabilities and continually look for ways to provide and enhance value delivered.Foster an environment / culture that encourages productivity, innovation, process improvement, teamwork, and a high level of professionalism.May conduct/oversee IT planning with internal clients, prioritize activities and allocate resources consistent with business strategy and objectives.Ensure compliance with IT Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and the department’s Business Recovery Plan (BRP)Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with industry and/or business trends.Both hands-on as an individual contributor and capable of stepping into Leadership role when needed, mentoring, and managing Team Members.Any Leadership Opportunities the candidate will be responsible for management of the overall team providing both leadership and technical guidance; set targets and objectives for the team and deliver results.Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and /or team.Willingness to work from 7am to 4pm SGT Tuesday ~ Friday. Rotational shift within team, to start work at 5/5:30 am on Mondays following Sydney DST changes. Rotational On-call, weekend, bank holiday coverage is expected. This is primarily an onsite position due to the job scope of the role.

Skills & Requirements:

10+ years of Capital markets experience, must have 5+ years of hands-on recent working experience with ION and Bloomberg. Experience supporting various trading exchanges.Good understanding of electronic trading, markets, connectivity, market making, pricing and algorithmic/automatic trading.Front Office / trade floor support experienceFixed Income functional knowledge, particularly treasuries and bond trading expertiseExperience supporting front-to-back trading systems and trading desks (example G10, EM)Should be comfortable assessing trading systems/components to investigate trade breaks, connectivity, data, and performance issuesUnderstanding of financial markets and products, in particular Fixed Income markets.Must have experience working with developers, business analysts, and infrastructure support teams.Working experience with the following technologies: Linux RH, Windows Server, Oracle, MS SQL, Python
 

Skills Category
