What you will do

We are now looking for an ESW Release Engineer to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.
The purpose of the ESW Release Engineer is to support and update Aftermarket systems and central systems to provide any given vehicle with the latest software. This role will support project and product deliveries and quality responsible with aftermarket requirements and demands regarding the software support. You will be the link between stakeholders and colleagues, securing the best solution for the Volvo Group and our customers. Together with a cross functional team you have the responsibility to deliver our solutions to the end users.

We believe you have experience within Automation of Configuration Management and from configuration management role in Automotive domain involving Embedded Software and/or related services area.
We also believe that you are an inspiring leader as well as an active team member.
 

You have

•    MSc. or BSc. Electrical Engineer, Computer Science, Engineering Physics or similar
•    Minimum 5 years work experience as an engineer 
•    Fluent English, spoken and written communication skills
 

In addition

•    Good knowledge about aftermarket is appreciated as well as dealer/workshop knowledge
•    Programming skills (HW close or Object Oriented) and/or Distributed Systems competence is considered a merit
•    Knowledge about vehicle electronics and diagnostic protocols is an advantage
