The role of SMP Estimator will see you based in our Milton office and responsible for the successful bid and estimating work for projects throughout the country. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned estimating professional to showcase their skills and make a significant impact on our Engineering Construction Division here on the East Coast. You will utilise your ability to scope the work, manage the full estimate and assist in the planning of the project delivery.

Demonstrated experience of design / engineering construction estimatingFormal SMP trade or engineering background in a construction environmentAn ability to interface with the Civil and E&I aspects of each estimateStrong commercial acumen with advanced computer literacy and organisational skillsA skillset that can successfully lead and compile all estimate inputs into one master estimateProvide inputs to Risk and Opportunity reviewsContribute to management reviews including the confidence and ability to present estimates to senior managementHighly developed communication skills and attention to detailAdvanced extensive Excel skillsIntermediate MS Word and MS PowerPoint skills, plus basic – intermediate P6 Primavera skillsAn ability to prepare detailed Basis of Estimate documentsPrior InEight software experience highly attractiveProof of right to work in Australia.Safety is at the forefront of everything we do, and we live by our promise: The safe way is the only way.
