Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a solid background in heavy/civil construction to join our locally owned construction company. Based in Springfield, Georgia, we have been providing top-notch services since 2011, covering areas from Beaufort, South Carolina to Midway, Georgia. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction, safety, and maintaining a fleet of new equipment with certified personnel.
ResponsibilitiesEstimate costs for various construction projects including residential, commercial, and industrial site preparation.Work on public projects including GDOT, Georgia Ports, Savannah HHI Airport, landfills, and railroads.Utilize software such as MS Project, Heavy Bid, and other similar programs for project management and bidding.Conduct comprehensive field work including land clearing, erosion control, rough grading, fine grading, utilities, concrete, and asphalt placement.Collaborate with project management teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of experience in a heavy/civil background working for a site/grading contractor.Proficient in basic computer skills.Capable of working with MS Project, Heavy Bid, and/or other similar software.Comprehensive understanding of field work including land clearing, erosion control, rough grading, fine grading, utilities, concrete, and asphalt placement.Additional Skills & Qualifications+5 years of estimating experience with site/grading contractors preferred.Project management experience within construction site work companies.Ability to work within various software including MS Project, Heavy Bid, and Excel.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $60.00
