+ Works with team members to provide estimates for facilities maintenance projects performed at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, Georgia. + Reviews proposal specifications, drawings, and attends pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required content of estimates & provide complete conceptual estimates and estimates prepared with incomplete plans to carry through to final estimates. US citizenship is required. Planning/Estimating experience in more than one of the following fields: Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing/Pipefitting, Utility Systems, High Voltage Electricity, Carpentry, and/or Painting. Two (2) years college or vocational training in area of specialty desired or five (5) years relevant experience, or any equivalent combination of education/ experience for total of five (5) years. + Experience estimating, and cost control + Experience estimating with P&ID drawings. + Working knowledge of RS Means estimating program or equivalent, desired. + Knowledge of Microsoft Office with a proficiency in Excel. + Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes and standards, estimating techniques, engineering, scheduling, project delivery and cost control. + Good communication and interpersonal skills.
