Job Title: Construction Estimator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge in estimating and bid proposals for large-scale commercial construction projects, including municipal, multifamily, and community developments. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with excellent analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and Analyze Project Plans: Examine blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents to understand the project scope and requirements.Prepare Detailed Cost Estimates: Calculate the costs of materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services required for each project.Develop Bid Proposals: Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals, ensuring all estimates are accurate and comprehensive.Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and clarify project details.Maintain Records: Keep detailed records of all estimates, bids, and project costs for future reference and analysis.Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with a General Contractor.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating and bid proposals for commercial construction projects, with examples of successful bids.
Minimum of 5 years of experience handling projects worth at least $5 million.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Minimum of 5 years of experience with any construction software for estimation/bids.
