**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our São Paulo site location in Electrophysiology (EP) business, we’re advancing the treatment of heart disease through breakthrough medical technologies in atrial fibrillation, allowing people to restore their health and get on with their lives.
The Senior Demand Planner for EP will play a strategic role in driving the demand planning and IBP (Integrated Business Planning) processes. This position will be directly responsible for Brazil, Argentina, and Chile, and will also manage specific projects with a global scope. The role involves executing both tactical and strategic components of demand planning, ensuring alignment across functions, and supporting organizational goals through effective forecasting and resource management.
**What You’ll Do**
+ • Strategic Demand Planning: Lead the monthly Demand Planning and IBP processes, including consensus forecasts, cross-functional assumption alignment, and management review presentations. Ensure data reporting is accurate and timely.
+ • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with commercial management to develop product life cycles, drive adherence to accountability, and support project teams to ensure project success.
+ • Data Analysis and Forecasting: Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to identify patterns and forecast future demand for products. Generate reliable sales forecasts to optimize resource allocation, capital utilization, and investment decisions.
+ • Inventory Management: Manage inventory tightly to reduce distressed inventory and assess staffing requirements. Oversee lot sequestering for key customers and the allocation process.
+ • Contingency Planning: Develop and recommend contingency plans in response to unexpected changes in demand or supply. Provide timely and thorough assessments of problems, formulate solutions, and propose minimal disruption strategies. Develop processes to mitigate recurrence.
+ • Benchmarking and Process Improvement: Provide regular benchmarking and adjust processes when beneficial. Participate in the preparation of executive-level summaries, key assumptions, findings, and observations, along with actionable information.
+ • Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts to deliver consensus forecasts across functional groups. • Compliance and Quality: Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures, rules, and guidelines. Implement and maintain the effectiveness of the Quality System.
+ • Global Scope Projects: Lead and participate in specific projects with a global scope, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies and objectives.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Experience in similar role with analytical load
+ Experience 5 years managing data bases and communications to corporate roles (Specialists, Managers and potentially Directors).
+ Supply Chain / Demand Planning expertise is a plus
+ Medical Devices experience is a plus
+ High attention to detail
+ Proactive in driving improvement initiatives & automation of current processes
+ English language proficiency
