Position Summary: The ERP System Administrator and Migration Lead will play a critical role in supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the organization's two legacy ERP systems and supporting the transition to SAP S/4HANA. This position is responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the legacy ERP systems in support of core business functions. The role involves leading data governance initiatives, including data cleansing and migration efforts, overseeing system administration activities for legacy ERP systems, and driving project management efforts for the ERP migration. This position requires strong technical expertise, business process knowledge to ensure alignment with business requirements and global standards, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments in a lean organization. Responsibilities: + ERP System Administration: + Manage the day-to-day operations of the existing legacy ERP systems and the new SAP S/4HANA system. + Manage ERP system configurations and user access controls. + Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues. + Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and testing. + Support legacy ERP system operations while actively contributing to the migration planning and execution. + Ensure system availability, performance, and security through proactive monitoring and maintenance. + Perform user account management, role assignments, and access control to maintain data security and compliance. + Coordinate with IT and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues. + Oversee software updates, patches, and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and compliance. + Provide end-user support and training to facilitate smooth transitions. Data Governance and Cleansing: + Lead data cleansing efforts, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance. + Work with business units to define data ownership, data quality rules, and validation processes. + Conduct post-migration data audits to verify the accuracy and completeness of data. + Ensure adherence to data governance policies and compliance standards. + Assist in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes for migration. + Establish and enforce data governance policies, ownership, and stewardship within the S/4 environment to support business continuity and compliance requirements. + Develop and implement data quality metrics. + Manage master data for both SAP and the legacy ERP, ensuring data integrity and supporting migration needs. Business Process Alignment: + Collaborate with business process owners to identify and document current and future state processes. + Ensure ERP system configurations align with business needs and compliance requirements. + Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate adoption of the new ERP system. + Develop reports and dashboards to support business operations. + Assist in developing test plans and conducting system testing to validate business requirements. + Assist with facilitating business processes, functional and organizational design, working collaboratively with process owners and subject matter experts. + Work with business units to identify ERP needs and enhancements. + Develop and maintain ERP-related documentation, including process flows and standard operating procedures. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. + 5+ years of experience in ERP system administration and support, with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA preferred. + Strong understanding of data governance principles, data migration strategies, and business process optimization. + Hands-on experience with ERP migration processes and data cleansing strategies. + Hands-on experience in ERP security administration, including role-based access controls and compliance. + Experience with SAP modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Plant Maintenance, etc.) + Demonstrated project management skills with proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies. + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to support cross-functional collaboration. + Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure smooth implementation. + Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, SQL) to streamline administrative tasks. + Proficiency in SQL, data mapping techniques, and report generation tools. + Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. + Expertise in troubleshooting ERP-related issues and providing technical support to end-users. + Experience working in cross-functional teams to drive system improvements and migration initiatives. + Ability to identify gaps, propose innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. + Self-motivated and independent with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. + Excellent business acumen with the capability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights. + Proven track record of working in a lean and evolving organization with a proactive approach. Preferred Certifications: + ERP system-specific certifications (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). + Project management certifications such as PMP or Agile methodologies. Soft Skills: + Strong problem-solving capabilities and analytical thinking. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Desired Skills: + SAP S/4HANA certification. + Experience with cloud-based ERP solutions and integrations. + Familiarity with reporting tools such as SAP Fiori and Power BI. + Experience in change management and end-user training. + Strong organizational and time-management skills. + Ability to work independently and take initiative in a lean and fast-paced environment.
