Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual to join our team as an ERP Data Steward. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the integrity and accuracy of our ERP system’s data. This role involves a combination of data analysis, cleansing, and governance to ensure data reliability and accessibility for the entire organization.

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular data quality checks to identify errors, inconsistencies, and duplicates.Perform data cleansing activities to correct errors, resolve inconsistencies, and remove duplicates.Enforce data standards and guidelines to maintain data consistency throughout the organization.Participate in data governance initiatives, including policy development and access control.Manage and update master data (e.g., customers, products, vendors) to ensure accuracy and completeness.Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for process improvement and decision-making.Provide support to end-users regarding data issues, questions, and requests.Create and maintain data documentation (data flow diagrams, lineage, quality metrics).Participate in data migration projects, including ETL processes from legacy systems to ERP, to ensure data integrity.

Qualifications:

2-4 years of experience in data management or related field.Mandatory experience in ORBIT/ BPCS systems.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in ERP systems (specify if relevant).Knowledge of data management and governance principles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with data cleansing and standardization tools.Knowledge of data modeling and database design.Experience with data visualization tools.Experience with ETL tools and processes for data migration.Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data analysis tools.
