Job Summary
Responsible for the service and repair of monitors, infusion pumps and other small equipment. Also responsible for verifying functionality and managing loaner pool of monitors, infusion pumps and other small equipment. May also be required to assist in service technician training, installs and servicing of anesthesia equipment in the field. Assist veterinary production in the building of anesthesia related products as needed.
Essential Functions

Diagnose and repair patient monitors, infusion pumps and other small equipment as defined by the National Repair Center.
Operate simulators, voltage meters and other test equipment, understanding results achieved.
Perform minor soldering repairs to electrical equipment.
Follow OEM service instructions to complete updates or repairs.
Create and modify test procedures for existing serviceable devices and any new product line being serviced at the National Repair Center.
Navigate ERP system to review part shortages and communicate this back to management.
Manage loaner pool of monitors, infusion pumps, and ultrasound devices through Access Database.
Contact manufacturers for repair assistance, part inquiries, or obtain warranty replacements when necessary.
Communicate repair situations and findings to customers
Create repair estimates and obtain approval from customers
Job Qualifications
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Able to use precision measuring tools such as dial calipers and depth micrometers.
Able to use hand tools and cordless drill/screwdrivers.
Excellent troubleshooting skills.
Extended knowledge of test fixtures and calibration equipment.
Proficient with Windows Operating System (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)
Able to read and understand CAD drawings and assembly instructions.
Courteous and professional communication.
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with a focus on being dependable, reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in electronics or other related degree relevant to this job’s requirements.
2+ years’ experience servicing medical devices.
