Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for an Equipment Operator.

Your Responsibilities:

Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and proceduresPerforms daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum outputPrepare inks for proper color and consistencyCheck paper for type, size, color and quantityCheck plates for correct formatVisually inspect forms throughout run for qualityCoordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updatesMaintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipmentPalletizer, Surface Mount II, Printer 1-2 color, Machine II, Packaging II, Folding, Cutter-Programs, Photocopy multicolor (Ink or Toner)

Your Shift:

2nd Shift; Monday - Thursday, 3:30pm - 2am

You Must Have:

Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerancesHigh degree of mathematical skills and attention to detailHigh degree of mechanical abilityGood reading ability

Requirements Within This Position:

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understandRegularly required to remain in a stationary positionConstantly operates machinery and handles products including print materialsFrequently required to move inside the facilityRegularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

High School Diploma/GEDMust have ability to work with very close tolerancesAbility to effectively communicate with team membersHigh degree of analytical skillsGood color discernment

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18 – 23. The actual base offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The range listed is just one component of Taylor Corporation’s total compensation and benefits package for employee.
