Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical repairs of our injection molding industrial machines and equipment at our plant in Tolleson, AZ, to ensure that our production equipment performs as required. This awesome Equipment Maintenance Technician prides themselves in their attention to detail, troubleshooting capabilities and perfect attendance as they provide technical support to other technical roles as part of this amazing team. Job details:

Job Type: Full-time

12 hours Day Shift: 6:50AM to 7:00PM

12 hours Night Shift: 6:50PM to 7:00AM  (PLUS $2.00/hr shift differencial)

Alternating every two weeks, Works every other weekend 2, 2, 3, 2 schedule

Hiring  Bonus: $1,000.00 

Referral Bonus: $1,000.00 per referral

Bi-Annual Bonus Compensation

  Responsibilities Installs, alters, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical molding equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC system.Installs and trouble shoots mechanical or electrical support equipment (conveyors, box sealing machines, grinding equipment, stackers, etc.)Preventative maintenance in molding of Husky and BNB injection Molding equipmentPreventative maintenance for support equipment.Maintain PM files - databaseMaintain work-order files – database.Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and (HACCP) Practices.Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or department managerMust Know the Quality Policy, Food Safety Policy and apply it to working practices.Ability to operate overhead cranesFollow all Lock-Out Tag-out proceduresMust be able to work in a team environment and help others as needed. Qualifications

Effective written and oral communication skillsMust be mechanically and electrically inclined.Must be safety and quality conscience at all times.3-5 years industrial equipment maintenance experience preferredAbility to work under limited supervisionAdditional training may be required to retain positionMust be familiar with the operation of PLCs, Drives, and robots.Must have basic equipment maintenance toolsMust be responsible, self- motivated and team oriented. Must be able to make decisions with minimal supervision.Must have a willingness to take a "hands on" approach during times of process interruption.

 

Education and/or Experience:

 

Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or minimum six months to one year related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. 

 

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
