We are looking for an Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor and based in Fremont, CA. This is a fully on-site, in office role.
Role and Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair all downed machines in Stack ManufacturingPerforma machine installations or modifications as per instructedExecute preventive maintenance schedulesReview spares inventory and inform spares team when spare parts are usedBe able evaluate equipment and create maintenance procedures and error logs about said equipment (high need)Suggest improvements for tool set Implement engineering upgrades to machinesSupport equipment testing groupEnsure proper LOTO complianceBe able to lift 50lbs as neededBe able to maneuver into tight places or on the ground as needed to perform repairsBe able to stand, crouch, kneel, bend over or any other out of normal position for extended periods of time to perform repairsBe able to stand or walk for extended periods of time to perform maintenance duties in a large manufacturing facilityBe able to use a PC and programs such as: outlook, MS word, MS excel, CMMS softwareSkills and Experience:
Minimal level 3 yrs experience in manufacturing environment preferredWell rounded in mechanical systems and experience such as: Pneumatics, vacuum systems, motor alignment, hoists, etc.Well rounded in electrical (up to 480VAC) experience and systems: VFD’s, motor/encoder systems, high temperature systems (highly valued), etc.Experience with high temperature systems up to 1200C PLC & Automation Experience!!MIG, TIG & Arc welding experience a plusExperience repairing machinery in a high volume manufacturing atmosphere• Superior communication skills, (written, verbal and active listening.)Intermediate skill level with MS word and excel. Power point proficiency a plusHighly motivated self-starter, capable of self management with little to no oversight is a must!!! (highly important)Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships; Ability to effectively participate on multi-disciplinary teams.
