As a **Fab Engineer** in the **RDA & Metrology Team** , you will collaborate with other equipment engineers, technicians, and application owners. Your responsibilities include overseeing the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, providing technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. You will define and write preventative maintenance schedules, maintain records on technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues, and study equipment performance to establish solutions that improve tool uptime.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Drive standards for critical metrics and ensure accountability in decision-making and performance.
+ Visible in key problem resolution efforts and provides guidance to resolve equipment issues effectively and timely.
+ Manages direction to change, sustain or cancel projects as required to meet area/Fab objectives
+ Communicate daily with the **Equipment Lead** regarding priorities, issues, and time management.
+ Effectively plans for required capacity and product mix adjustments, ensure equipment is capable of running as much variance as possible.
+ Review and document LTD issues to ensure root cause is found and follow-up is documented and communicated to the group and across sister sites.
+ Uses available resources and systems (such as KT) in the decision making process
+ Review and update maintenance procedures to ensure equipment is maintained with quality, efficiency and in a cost effective manner.
+ Monitor required programs and verify workstation notes and data are logged (i.e. MPD, SPC, ETI, FDC, ECN’s)
+ Develop and implement best-known methods (BKMs) and update reaction mechanism procedures.
+ Work with **Vendors** on CIP initiatives for tool/product/throughput improvement.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Materials Science or relevant engineering major OR equivalent experience in semiconductor industry.
+ 0-2 years of experience in FAB environment.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience working on Metrology and RDA tools.
+ Strong background in **Fab operations** , equipment troubleshooting, and Micron factory systems.
+ Certifications in Tableau, Power BI, or other relevant tools are a plus, but not required.
+ Candidates with hobbies related to semiconductor equipment and engineering are strongly encouraged, as these demonstrate a passion for the field.
