EPI Product Manager

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Plans and leads ongoing meetings and manages customer communications. 

Acts as liaison between customer and internal technology, quality, manufacturing and sales teams. 

Maintains and updates customer action items status reports. Provides status updates for monthly and quarterly business reviews. 

Determines future customer and market requirements by regular communication and research with any and all appropriate sources. 

Engages the appropriate contacts to ensure that the changing customer business objectives are identified and met by both current and future planned product implementations.  

Works closely with technology and manufacturing resources to enable effective communication and understand the requirements of customers, to help shape and define the development roadmap, and to execute programs to meet current and future customer expectations.  

Performs the role of customer advocate to ensure they are receiving appropriate support from all areas of the business.

Marketing Analysis

Research and analyze market conditions Identify key competitor and consumer trends Articulate market requirements and opportunities for product innovation and enhancements. Work with Process and Design engineering to identify process parameters (and limits) to ensure parametric performance is in control.

Product Planning & Management

Determine product specifications Determine the long-term strategy of the product and create product roadmap. Prepare product documents including market requirements Develop pricing strategies  Oversee product development Manage and communicate with cross functional teams

Customer Support

Prepare product documents including market requirements Develop pricing strategies  Oversee product development Manage and communicate with cross-functional teams, manage product-related support, feedback and inquiries from users Co-ordinate market research to track customer and end-user feedback Monitor product inventory Use market feedback to inform product refinements and ongoing development Minimum # yr. experience xxxx. BS/MS xxxxx or equivalent degree.

Education and Experience

MS or PhD in Engineering, Material Sciences, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field. 12+ years of experience in technical, application and customers engagement preferably in manufacturing, quality or engineered materials industry. Industrial experience of SiC or related applications On-hands experience with SiC Epitaxial process is a plus Experience with problem analysis and resolution

Skills

Demonstrated ability to achieve results independently or working with others  Ability to recommend and implement improvements Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Knowledge of Statistical Analysis Experience with MS Office, spreadsheets, databases, scripting, statistical software

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Physical Requirements

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
