Radiologic Technologist - EP Lab
Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our Electrophysiology (EP) Lab team. In this role, you will provide critical healthcare services, assisting with cardiovascular, endovascular, and neurovascular imaging and interventional procedures. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, performing diagnostic imaging, and assisting physicians in advanced electrophysiology procedures, ensuring the highest level of safety and quality for all patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform hemodynamic monitoring and assist with arterial/venous sheath removals and/or closure devices.Support physicians during electrophysiology procedures such as atrial and ventricular ablation, LAAO procedures, and lead extractions.Assist with the implantation of permanent pacemakers and ICDs.Perform digital imaging techniques, following aseptic protocols during all procedures.Manage and recognize complications such as air emboli, stroke, anaphylaxis, and cardiac tamponade.Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and hospital protocols to maintain patient safety and satisfaction.Maintain a positive, professional environment and collaborate with the team to optimize procedural workflows.Adhere to radiation safety standards and utilize ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) practices during all exams.Participate in staff meetings, educational opportunities, and maintain certifications required for the role.

Requirements:

Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.Licensure/Certification: ARRT (RTR) required; ACLS certification required within one year of hire. BLS certification required.Experience: No prior experience required, though experience in an electrophysiology or cath lab setting is preferred.Skills:Ability to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging.Excellent communication skills, including maintaining patient confidentiality.Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in high-stress situations.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with EPIC or similar hospital scheduling and patient management systems.Previous experience in an electrophysiology lab or cardiology-related field.
