Our team in Brisbane is currently seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Control Engineer to assist with the recent growth in regional workload. 

 

The team consists of a diverse mix of people who all have the same common goal - to deliver the highest quality work to our clients. You can enjoy coming to work each day knowing you are surrounded by friendly, helpful and inclusive colleagues. 

 

As the successful candidate, you will be involved in: 

Preparing discipline design, studies, calculations and documentation to support feasibility studies, as well as detailed engineering for supply and construction.  

Providing input into capital estimates and project schedules.  

Providing key discipline input to multi-discipline project teams 

Participating in formal engineering review processes 

Providing on-site construction and commissioning technical support. 

  

You bring to the role: 

A degree in engineering, demonstrated experience and CPEng status (or the experience necessary to attain this) 

Excellent attitude towards safety and a demonstrated ability to comply with the safety requirements 

Demonstrated design and engineering experience in the mining and metals sector (esp. iron ore, alumina and base metals) or similar heavy industries such as energy or infrastructure 

Experience in the investigation, planning and supervision of construction works and/or maintenance activities in operational facilities. 

Experience in the design, specification, installation, expansion and optimisation of instrumentation and control systems infrastructure. 

Have current knowledge of industry or regulatory standards and study criteria pertinent to instrumentation and control systems engineering ensuring compliance of design work with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures. 

Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients on a technical and interpersonal level. 

Current working rights for Australia (permanent residency or citizenship).
