Job Description:
Segregation and lab packing of chemicals or waste in accordance with company guidelines, EPA, DOT regulations, and disposal site protocols.Pour off/consolidation of flammable, combustible, corrosive, and toxic materials.Hazardous waste pickup at customer locations.Daily written field reports.Deliveries and pickups of drums or various job-related supplies.Loading trucks for the next day’s operations and restocking used PPE, kits, and equipment.Chemical relocation and laboratory support.Additional Skills & Qualifications:
OSHA 8-hour certification preferred.Knowledge in chemistry, hazardous waste, and hazardous materials packing, labeling, disposal, and transportation.Familiarity with DOT/EPA/OSHA/RCRA regulations is required.Mechanically inclined with the ability to maintain lab equipment.Ability to work 40-50 hours per week and be on call 24/7 for emergency spill response.Physical capability to handle and move drums weighing 250-450 pounds (5 gal, 15 gal, 30 gal, and 55 gal); stand for 8 hours per day; and operate tools and equipment safely.Proficiency in English(written and reading) is required.Experience in driving box trucks.Professional image maintenance.Successful candidates must pass pre-employment drug testing, a BG check, and DOT/medical physical before hire.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
