GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Responsible for specified general cleaning as assigned in Environmental Services (ES) and project work as assigned by the ES Supervisor or Director. Project work will include but not be limited to meeting room setup, wall washing, ceiling vent and light washing, washing exterior windows, changing of curtains, floor and carpet care, and performing facility moves. This position requires substantial lifting exceeding 100 lbs. on a routine basis. As ES Project Crew Tech must demonstrate superior customer services at all times.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

General cleaning as assigned (7-step method) Facility moves Wall washing Cleaning of ceiling lights and vents Floor and carpet care Washing exterior windows Changing curtains Meeting room setups Knowledge of mandatory hospital information (codes, safety, OSHA, Joint Commission) Other duties as assigned

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

Perform facility moves as directed by Director/Supervisor/Team Lead, in a quality, customer-focused, timely manner Perform project cleaning as assigned by Director/Supervisor/Team Lead Cleaning of meeting rooms in-between scheduled meetings, perform room setups as required, and communicate with customers in a polite manner

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

One year experience in ES within a hospital setting Demonstrated understanding of ES department functions Ability to routinely safely lift in excess of 100 lbs. Excellent customer service skills Valid driver’s license with safe driving record and evidence of insurability Ability to safely operate moving equipment Ability to safely climb, stoop, bend and pivot Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

One year experience as an ES Project Crew Tech with a hospital setting High school diploma or equivalent
