Essential Functions:

Responsible for maintaining a dust-free environmentReadily demonstrates knowledge & accepts assignments of thoroughly cleaning bed/mattressResponsible for patient satisfaction, room cleanlinessResponsible for sanitation in the departmentResponsible for the area assigned daily before and after shiftReadily accepts all assignments in any location & performs thoroughly all tasks assignedPerforms daily sanitation of all rest roomsReadily applies knowledge of cleaning steps to assure all service is thoroughReadily demonstrates floor care knowledgeReadily demonstrates chemical usage and proper usageReadily demonstrates cleanliness of carts and closets without daily remindersWorks independently on a daily basisAbility to work with other staff members on a daily basisAbility to demonstrate the hospitals five star standards on a daily basisAbility to produce written and verbal reports to the department director as neededResponsible for the upkeep for department logsFollows daily and weekly cleaning scheduleMinimizes waste and over productionAbility to lift up to 50 poundsResponsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all equipmentResponsible to participate in council meetings as designated by the department directorResponsible to attend other department meetings as requested by the directorResponsible to assist in the setting up and breaking down of all special functions both internal and external
