About the Position: Serves as a staff advisor exercising program oversight for several environmental programs and activities in assigned areas throughout Army Material Command located in Redstone Arsenal, AL. Responsibilities Serves as a senior environmental advisor and technical authority for the Command. Responsible for conservation of natural and cultural resources, environmental compliance, land use, pest management, and other environmental programs. Provides program oversight and administrative control of these programs for the Department of the Army. Implements the requirements established by public laws, Executive Orders, and DoD directives for protecting and enhancing the quality of the environment. Monitors projects to determine the progress and the status of compliance with proposed completion dates.
