Essential Roles and Responsibilities:Design and analyze using hydrology and hydraulics (H&H) modelingModel floodingDesign stormwater managementPlan for shoreline and coastal resilienceDesign stream restorationsDesign dam projects and perform safety inspectionsAnalyze sediment transportInvestigate water resourcesProcess wetland and waterway permitsAssess and restore watershedsDesign AMD remediationAssist with grant applications and managementRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology; Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering is preferred5+ years of related experienceProfessional Engineer (P.E.); will also consider allied professional with stormwater and/or stream design experienceExperience in any or all of the following: H&H modeling, floodplain analysis, shoreline/coastal resilience, dam design, scour analysis, riverine hydraulic analysis, hydrologic modeling and calculations; CLOMR, LOMR, stormwater management design, stream relocation, and the permitting and approval processCompetence in HEC-RAS 1D ,HEC-RAS 2D, SMS or similar software modelingProject Management skills in water resource design from concept through construction, including achieving milestones and deadlines, proposal creation, and invoicingCompetence in client relationship and meeting facilitationAbility to lead a team and mentor junior staffProficiency in the use of software for hydrology, hydraulics, drafting, presentation, and routine office administrative tasksStrong written and verbal communication skillsWilling and able to travel occasionally and work overtimeValid driver’s license with acceptable violation history#LI-TM1
