**Environmental Health and Safety Specialist** Science & Research Middlesex County, NJ, US + Added - 29/10/2024 Apply for Job **Position Overview: Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist** **Qualifications** + **Education** : Bachelor’s degree required + **Experience** : 3- 5+ years in the Pharma/BioPharma industry with regulated environments such as cGMP, OSHA, and EPA, with OSHA training and knowledge of hazardous shipping guidelines. + **Special Skills** : Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and expertise in EHS regulations, pollution control, industrial hygiene, and safety equipment. **Key Responsibilities** + **Technical Expertise** : Apply EHS knowledge to address workplace safety, conduct risk assessments, and troubleshoot technical issues with safety engineering methods. + **Data Analysis** : Collect and analyze data to support decision-making and mitigate potential risks. + **Collaboration** : Work effectively with team members, contractors, and external EHS services to meet organizational goals. + **Documentation** : Maintain thorough and timely documentation of technical tasks and project progress. + **Project Management** : Handle multiple small projects concurrently, planning deliverables to keep initiatives on track. + **Continuous Improvement** : Gain experience applying safety engineering in product and process evaluations and maintain gowning certification for clean room activities.
