The Environmental Compliance Intern works with the Permits, Compliance, & Engineering (PC&E) team to support air/waste/water permitting, engineering construction, and environmental compliance projects. The successful candidate will apply engineering principles to prepare technical reports, review engineering designs, collect environmental samples, observe and document field activities, and compile and analyze data.

Key Responsibilities Participates in field site visits, completes data collection, and analyzes findings, by producing technical reports, tabulating data, and preparing charts, graphs, and sketches in support of engineering and complianceResearches and summarizes environmental regulations and recommends applicability for facilities and collaborates with facility management to maintain local, state, and federal permits by compiling and preparing permit applications, and managing electronic and hard copy filing of documents.Participates in engineering design, contractor procurement, and construction management meetings and site visits to support successful facility development projects.Compiles, organizes, and analyzes engineering and capital construction costs, including third‐party contractor and consultant bids.Assists with the development and implementation of new or revised environmental resource programs, policies, procedures, methods of operation and provides recommendations for enhancements to ensure effective systems and services are in place.Participates in training and other learning opportunities to expand knowledge of the company, products, sales, and services and performs any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and/or abide by our core values. Education, Experience & Qualifications

The successful candidate will be enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related degree program. Legal eligibility to work in the US, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel among company facilities are required.
