Environmental Advisor

We're looking for an Environmental Advisor to join our Workplace Solutions division based across the South.

 

Location: Hybrid working available - Sites based in Basingstoke / Central London / Loughton

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

 

What will you be responsible for?

As an Environmental Advisor, you'll be working within the Sustainability team, supporting them in in delivering Kier's Sustainability Framework and maintaining environmental compliance.

Your day to day will include:

Supporting with tenders to ensure relevant environmental mitigation is incorporated into projects Assisting sites in pre-construction to ensure all required documentation is in place to ensure legal and system compliance. Conducting environmental inspections and support environmental audits Reviewing environmental incidents and develop learning outcomes

 

What are we looking for?

This role of Environmental Advisor is great for you if:

You have a passion for sustainability and a drive to reduce resource generation and usage and in turn carbon emissions Preferably you will have a degree in an environmental or scientific discipline. You have suitable experience working in an Environmental or similar role. A background or experience in ecology would also support this role well.
