Join Us as an Entry-Level Vehicle Validation Field Test Engineer!

 

International Motors LLC is looking for a full time employee to join the Vehicle Performance Field Test team. The group manages a fleet of vchicles that are driven of customer representative routes to support relability growth demonstration plans. You will troubleshoot issues during testing, create work orders to support the field test plan and provide regular updates to the Field Test Manager.

Responsibilities Perform pre-test and post-test vehicle inspectionsCreate work orders in Maitenance Connection to support the field test planDiagnose and troubleshoot issuesReview drivers report and weekly inspection reportsCreate pycls of issues (inclde pictures, data, and significant details)Fluent in operation of all vehicle control modules (ECM, BCM, TCM). Knowledge of parts identification and ordering systemsKnowledge of service portalWork directly with Quality Validation, and other Product Development Engineering groupsAbility to travel to remote test locationsAbility to make decisions in the field and document those decisionsCreate field test "specialized" procedures as requiredAbility to travel up to 25% with trips varying from 1 day to 2 weeks in duration when neccesary.  Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer Science and will obtain degree prior to first day of employment Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
