Description
Currently seeking to hire 1 Controls Technicians to join the growing St. Louis, MO team. This is a great opportunity for someone to gain hands-on, industry experience working for a leading company in the building automation industry. Controls Technicians will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, testing, programming, troubleshooting, and repairing systems and equipment on-site at customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Performing repairs, overhauls, and start-ups of systems
- Using a variety of hand tools, following engineering drawings and blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schematics and engineering specifications to diagnose and repair equipment
- Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers
- Document work by completing paperwork on every job site and maintaining/managing files
- Determining parts to order for repairs and timelines of customer needs
- Provide technical support to customers
- Maintain tools and equipment by inspecting for signs of wear
- Regular travel requirements with occasional stays (25%)
- Flexibility to work over-time/weeks, as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 0-3 years industry experience testing, programming, and troubleshooting controls (the more experience the better, but open to entry level candidates)
- Some exposure/familiarity with controls
Nice to Have's:
- Any experience with controllers, air handling units, chillers, boilers, sensors, thermostats a plus
- Any experience with HVAC a leg up on other candidates

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/yr.
