Position Summary:

The Entrepreneurship Community Coordinator is critical to the success of EOY’s flagship Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) program. This position has responsibility for EOY program operations and execution throughout the 12-month program cycle. Responsibilities include managing all elements of tracking, administration, reporting and invoicing for two EOY programs (tied to cities/geographic areas) along with market-facing activities with EOY sponsors, judges and nominees. This role will also provide local support for the execution of the broader entrepreneurship community strategy, including EOY alumni programming, Entrepreneurial Winning Women (WW) and the Entrepreneurs Access Network (EAN). Success in this role will be effectively managing multiple Marketing activities – with a strong attention to detail and project management orientation – to help build EY relationships with local entrepreneurs, founders and CEOs in support of the broader entrepreneurial ecosystem. This is market-facing role where you will represent the EY brand to entrepreneurs and program sponsors.

 

Essential Functions of the Job:

Provide operations, execution and project coordination support for two EOY programs In partnership with the Entrepreneurship Community Manager and EOY Program Director, serve as a key point of contact for program information for internal and external stakeholders. Assist in the development and maintenance of EOY target lists prior to program kick off, working closely with the EOY leadership team Manage the creative calendar and request process for all marketing materials for programs (marketing brochures, training documents, social media assets, event collateral, etc.) working cross-functionally with assigned graphic and multimedia designers Provide quality review of creative materials prior to sharing with EOY Program Director and Entrepreneurship Community Manager Assist with development of presentations or various training, pitch and informational deck needs Work with Entrepreneurship Community Manager to create agendas for program team calls Creation of entrepreneurship-focused communications (EOY, SGF, etc.) based on National templates Manage site visit scheduling communication process Assist in event script and presentation development, where needed Perform research related to EOY targeting, pipeline, sponsor identification, potential judges, WW, EAN, etc. Own UX database, specifically the ongoing data entry into EOY database throughout the lifecycle of each EOY program Process EOY applications and work with/train any dedicated program support staff (i.e., existing EAs and/or GDS) to ensure EOY applications are fully processed Utilize assigned/trained GDS resources for completion of certain tasks Support the collection of required program deliverables such interview forms, executive summaries, nominee photos, etc. working closely with the EOY nominee and EY relationship owner Manage the invoicing process for sponsors, gala patrons and attendees with finance and proactively track all revenue for each program. Represent EY in a highly professional manner and engage various constituents (nominees and their reps, sponsors, judges, etc) effectively throughout the program lifecycle. Engage in peer networks with other Region Entrepreneurship Marketing coordinators to share knowledge, leading practices, and facilitate problem-solving Participate in special project teams at National level, as requested, to continue enhancement of overall program Attend and provide support EOY and SGF events Support local execution of WW and EAN programs, as appropriate, as well alumni programs that connect all members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem to one another and to EY

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

Ability to manage multiple involved processes and technologies through all stages of program execution Prioritizing work and meeting all critical deadlines Experience synthesizing information from others; serving as an organizational connector Tracking invoices/budget Professionalism and confidence engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated strong project management skills in a fast-moving environment Multitasking and organizational skills are a must! Ability to juggle multiple projects with competing deadlines simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in both in-person and virtual settings Strong working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and CVent. A Bachelor's degree, with a focus on Business Administration, Marketing or Communications, preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, events, business development or project management desired.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $61,100 to $111,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $73,400 to $126,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
