Summary / Overview:

This role supports Commercial Digital Space. The Lead Segment Architect participates on one or more project teams, including supporting the design and modeling of the architecture and related solutions, component identification, quality reviews and adherence to policies, standards, guidelines and procedures. They review existing business processes and establish metrics to improve business processes as well as support all architectural disciplines under their direction.

Project Based / Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with Experience Owners and IT leadership to understand and capture business objectivesDocument all solution architecture design and analysis workAssist business areas to enhance their existing business processes using technology – i.e. automate any manual processesAwareness of industry and market trends to determine potential impact on the enterpriseUnderstand, advocate and augment the principles of Enterprise StrategiesDevelop a road map of the enterprise application portfolio

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree7+ years of experienceMentor Solution Architects and other technical resourcesUpdate and create standards and patterns for the organization"Sell" the architecture process, its outcome and ongoing resultsCollaborate with other Product, Domain, and Application architects to define the solution while incorporating their roadmapsAnalyze the IT environment to detect critical deficiencies, and recommend solutions for improvementStrong leadership qualities with excellent written / verbal communication skillsIndependently motivated but can work effectively on a teamAssist business and IT through the creation of a project’s scope and requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

IT experience designing architectures and delivering information systems including data/information architecture, technical infrastructure, architecture and application architectureStrong organizational, analytical, decision making, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritizeWillingness and drive to learn and understand detailed software solutions
