The ideal candidate will be an exemplary writer (both technical and creative), a strong project manager with proven diplomacy and relationship-building skills, and able to deliver both big-picture strategy and hands-on execution, balancing long-term planning with real-time content creation and performance optimization.
They will be observant, results-driven and a natural storyteller who understands how to craft compelling content, build communities and turn engagement into business impact. They will work cross-functionally to align social media efforts with broader business objectives while keeping a pulse on industry trends and platform updates.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage an enterprise social media content strategy tailored to the strengths of various social media platforms, to increase brand awareness and affinity Develop and publish compelling content with consistent messaging across the organization, refined for the appropriate audiences and platforms Use social media tools create, curate and optimize engaging content for our social channels Define and analyze key performance metrics and regularly report on performance using data to inform strategy and provide actionable insights for improvement Actively manage and engage with our social communities and foster relationships with followers Monitor conversations, trends and brand mentions to capitalize on engagement opportunities Stay up to date with new and emerging trends to help keep the company’s social media presence consistently relevant Work collaboratively to integrate our social media strategy into broader campaigns and bring campaigns to life on social Provide strategic input that integrates with International’s master editorial calendar Identify trends, cultural moments and industry insights to keep our brand relevant and engaging Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degreeAt least 8 years of communications experienceAt least 1 year of lead experience

We do not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status) Desired Skills Extensive knowledge in a variety of current social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, etc. Social media copywriting experience with ability to translate complex topics into succinct, compelling messages Customer care and crisis management Experience with development and execution of both organic and paid social media campaigns, including defining key performance indicators for said campaigns, tracking SEO and web traffic metrics as result of campaigns Experience using Sprout Social, Buffer, Hootsuite or other social media marketing and management tools Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, including management of a content calendar, assets, etc. Ability to move fast, experiment and adapt in a dynamic environment.
